Troubleshooting

The most common messages and how to fix each one.

"Discord refused the bot token"

DISCORD_TOKEN is wrong or was reset. Get a new one under Developer Portal → Bot → Reset Token and paste it into .env.

Commands do not show up

Global commands can take up to an hour to appear. Put your server's ID in DISCORD_GUILD_ID and restart: they appear at once.

The module "needs configuration"

It needs a value only you have. Open the module in /panel: it lists which values are missing and where to fill them in — in modules/<module-id>/.env or, on a hosting panel, in its variables as REALM_MODULE_<ID>_<KEY>. Save and it starts by itself. See Install and configure.

"This key does not exist"

Copy the key again, in full. See Redeem your key for every message a key can give.

"Missing dependency"

Update the bot from /panel: new versions bring everything modules need.

The module does not turn on in a server

A module only runs in a server a slot covers. Check that someone who owns it offered a slot and that the staff accepted it under Accounts → Requests. In My library, check for free slots and whether the licence or subscription is still active.
